DustFox is a photo and video cleaner for iPhone and iPad that works entirely on the device. Its ten methods fall into two groups. Three free space without deleting anything: Shrink Videos re-encodes videos with HEVC at the same resolution and frame rate, Compressible Photos converts JPEGs to HEIC, and Live Photos drops the motion while keeping the still. The other seven find what is safe to delete, from duplicate and near-identical shots grouped by DCT fingerprints to blurry frames, screenshots and media that arrived from WhatsApp or Telegram. A goal plan builds the least regrettable way to free a chosen amount of space, and a shareable Gallery Report Card gives the library a title using numbers only. Everything deleted waits 30 days in Recently Deleted. DustFox has no account, never uploads photos and sends only anonymous usage statistics and purchase records. It is free to download, and DustFox Pro is either a one-time purchase or a yearly subscription.

- Meta's SDK is gone. DustFox collects no data again: no analytics, no advertising SDK, and nothing leaves your device except Apple's own Pro purchase. Anything the SDK from 1.1.2 left on your device is deleted on first launch.

What makes it different
- No weekly charges. Pro is bought once or by the year, and includes Family Sharing.
- Photos stay on the device and scanning works in airplane mode. The network is used only for Pro purchases (StoreKit and RevenueCat) and anonymous statistics.
- Frees space without deleting: HEVC re-encoding, HEIC conversion, Live Photo motion removal.
- Honest about space: it says that deleted items wait 30 days in Recently Deleted, and lists only frames that actually free device space.
- A Gallery Report Card that turns the library into a shareable joke, with numbers only.
